In October 1979, Bernard Struber, under the direction of Jean-Sébastien Béreau, created the first jazz class at the Strasbourg Conservatory. Later, the objective was to develop the teaching and practice of improvisation in a wide universe of music: traditional music, ancient music, rock music, experimental music. The offer was extensive, and combined essential cultural notions with individual or collective practice. With two programs, this evening celebrates the DJEMI's 40th anniversary!
